The switch can change colour when pressed and maintain this colour until pressed again, making it ideal for showing the different operating status of equipment.
Full-face illumination provides excellent visibility - even when viewed from the side (key to the design) - making it simple for the user to view the status of each function at a glance.
This innovative product also features a noiseless switching action so as not affect the purity of sound within a recording or broadcast environment.
It has a service life of up to five million operations.
EAO's Series 95 is available in two sizes: 19.05 mm square with up to three different coloured surface-mount LEDs and 12.7 mm square with up to two LEDs.
The larger pushbutton is available with either a convex or concave lens, and the smaller one with a flat lens only.
The overall height is 24 mm maximum and features one N/O self-cleaning gold-plated switch element rated at a minimum 1m VDC/100 uA and maximum 48VDC/50 uA.
The switches are snap-mounted to the PCB for easy flow-soldering and no positioning tool is required.
For marking purposes the diffuser can be either printed or engraved, or a film insert can be fitted between the diffuser and the lens. Request a free brochure from EAO ...
