Evatron's new PP71 enclosure has a futuristic design with rounded corners and recessed sides greatly enhancing the aesthetics, but is still claimed to be very cost-effective

The new PP71 has a futuristic design with rounded corners and recessed sides greatly enhancing the aesthetics.

The top has a recess measuring 169 x 119 x 1mm and a further two recesses in the base 201 x 33 x 3mm.

The enclosure contains four mounting pillars, with PCB mounting points giving plenty of room for components measuring 214 x 134 x 70/48mm sloping incline.

A smaller and squarer looking case type PP14 has also been launched, designed with a sloping front and flat top measuring 120 x 56 x 35/18mm.

Both are very cost effective.

Other styles of sloping enclosures are the SES and SED range.

These are available in off white RAL 9002, with pcb mounts in the top and base.

The SE range comes with an anodised aluminium panel, in three sizes.

All the above cases are moulded in ABS.

The keyboard enclosure available in two sizes compliments the above range of cases.
