Industrial PC adds touch of reliability

EBN Technology Corp has unveiled a 15in TFT touch screen industrial panel PC aimed at high-reliability public service and industrial applications.

The EZPPC 70 comes with a large 15in TFT and a five-wire resistive-type touch panel.

It features an Intel Celeron M 1GHz CPU with 512Mbyte DDR RAM, delivering performance to satidfy current and future applications.

Its fanless design not only keeps the working temperature within the design spec but also eliminates the maintenance costs, power consumption and reliability issues associated with CPU coolers.

The ultra-slim design combined with high strength and durability of its die-cast aluminium alloy chassis helps the EZPPC 70 to set a new industry PC standard in resisting corrosion and impact damage in any high-availability crucial industry and public service environment.

Measuring just 390 x 342 x 58 mm, the EZPPC 70 offers flexible installation options.

The EZPPC 70 incorporates "smart battery" technology, which can maintain the unit for more than an hour without any external power supply, as well as regulating the power supplied from a wall outlet.

Equipped with all industry-standard I/O ports, EZPPC 70 is an all-in-one touch POS terminal with unlimited flexible compatibility and extensibility to integrate with other accessories and devices.

With one cash drawer port, Gigabit Ethernet port, four USB 2.0 ports, an RS232/422/485 port and three RS232 ports, the EZPPC 70 can be expanded and connected with any external device required.

For future upgrades and fast assembly/disassembly, EZPPC 70 uses a tool-free and idiot-proof modular design, so anyone can replace any of the main modular components with no special tools or training.
