Leak proof seals for pipework up to
20bar
FBO's range of compression joints provides a leak proof seal for galvanised pipe work with working pressures of up to 20 bar, and the ease of assembly allows the joints to be fitted in minutes
Exclusive to leading engineering supplies and services company Economatics is the new range of FBO compression fittings which make for an easy to fit and reusable forging solution There are two sounds common to compressed air systems: the first is the almost ambient 'schhhing' of air escaping from leaks; the second is the strangled screams of pipe fitters being cut to ribbons on the sharp edges of thread form

Single sourcing service for filter elements
With over 30 filter manufacturers in the UK, the purchase of replacement filter parts has become a minefield, and Economatics has introduced a new single sourcing service for filtration equipment
FBO compression fitting solve both these problems and more.
FBO's range of compression joints provides a leak proof seal for galvanised pipe work.
Working pressures of up to 20 bar are achieved, and the ease of assembly and alignment allow the joints to be fitted in minutes.
Because these are compression joints, that final adjustment can be made to align the joints perfectly before final tightening.
FBO compressions fittings recover their cost by a significant reduction in assembly time and the ease of fitting.
The fittings do away with the often-arduous task of cutting thread in pipe work.
All a fitter needs is a deburred saw cut.
The entire process ultimately reduces fitting time, avoids cuts and the use of a thread-cutting machine.
A further range of compression fittings for stainless steel is also available.
Again, an advantage of the system is the elimination of tube thread cutting.
Thin walled tubing can therefore be used which further reduces installation costs - a key benefit when using stainless steel.
The FBO range extends from 1/8" to 2" BSP and NPT bore, and 6mm to 60mm bore metric sizes.
Its versatility means it can connect between different tube materials - steel, plastic and galvanised metals.
The new FBO range of airline fittings, along with the highly efficient smooth bore push to fit Transair airline system, ensure that any new installation or modification to an existing system is completed with a minimum of labour cost, and the maximum performance efficiency.
