Hydraulic powered sheeting system offers substantial advantages over ordinary sheeting systems.

Edbro's new Rolatarp hydraulic powered sheeting system offers substantial advantages over ordinary sheeting systems In addition to increased safety, its lightweight construction and speed of operation provide substantial increases in productivity for operators, with more trips per day possible than is the case with manual sheeting systems

Designed to cover any load, even above the level of the container sides, Rolatarp fulfils all the legislative requirements for sheeting loads on refuse or waste carrying vehicles.

It effectively eliminates the time wasted with manual sheeting systems via a unique operating action, which lifts and lowers the sheet over rather than pulling the cover across the load.

As a result, it is less prone to damage from projections above the height of the container.

The versatility of Edbro's design means that Rolatarp's hinged side arms are able to lift the spring- loaded sheet roller from its storage cradle behind the cab and extend it, in an average 25 seconds, without the need for a vertical mounting mast and a hydraulic cylinder.

The reverse action of uncovering also takes about 25 seconds; it is accomplished via tension springs inside the roller assembly.

These reel-in the sheeting cover, resulting in quick and efficient unloading and minimal vehicle waiting time.

Furthermore, when the sheet cover is retracted, the Rolatarp side arms stow horizontally below the level of the container.

This avoids any possibility of damage when lifting on misaligned containers.

An ideal complement to Edbro's Rolatip hooklift system, Rolatarp is an extremely robust and reliable product.

The side arms and pivot supports of the sheeting system are mounted to the hooklift subframe for maximum stiffness and durability in service.

Further, the sheet - a one-size cover for container sizes from 20 to 50m3 capacity - is made from the very strongest material available; and all hydraulic components are specified to provide reliable operation over extended periods.

Rolatarp can be very easily retrofitted to any vehicle currently using any type or make of hooklift system.

Its hydraulic system is easily integrated into the existing hooklift circuit using the same PTO and pump unit.

In addition, Rolatarp is also easy to control and safe to operate.

The sheeting system is designed to be easily controllable by the driver of the vehicle at ground level.

This means that the driver does not have to climb on top of the container to cover waste loads, thus avoiding the risk of injury.

Rolatarp, like its sister product Rolatip is manufactured by Edbro in the UK.

As such it benefits from the guaranteed availability of spare parts, and a nationwide dealer network to provide all levels of technical and service support.
