Edmund Optics has introduced a precision-grade cube beamsplitter for high-power Nd:YAG lasers.

Tech Spec high-energy polarising cube beamsplitters use multilayer dielectric film technology to minimise reflection and absorption losses.

The result is a beam splitter that puts maximum optical power where it's needed while handling high laser-power densities up to 5J/cm2.

Designed specifically for high power laser applications using 532 or 1064nm Yd:YAG lasers, these beamsplitters feature a precision fused silica substrate and high-energy coatings.

A unique optical contact bonding method eliminates the need for adhesive between the prisms, simultaneously improving the damage threshold of the beamsplitter and parallelism of incoming and exiting beams.

A V-coat AR coating at the design wavelength virtually eliminates energy loss.

The beamsplitters are an excellent complement to Edmund's full suite of laser optics and accessories, and can be easily integrated into applications with our precision positioning equipment.
