Endress+Hauser has launched the Proline Prosonic Flow 93P clamp-on flowmeter, designed for the bidirectional flow measurement of liquids in pipes.
It is suitable for a range of applications, primarily in the chemical, petrochemical and oil and gas industries, measuring flow from outside pipes with diameter from 4m down to 20mm.
The Prosonic Flow 93P clamp-on flowmeter works off a rechargeable battery to measure pipe flow without process interruption
The integrated sensor holder and straps allow easy installation even in compact plants and ensure the sensor is securely and correctly positioned on any pipe.
Its ruggedness and Ex approvals also make it suitable for applications in the chemical industry.
It can be used over a process temperature range from -40 to 150C and offers high accuracy in challenging applications such as in laminated composite pipes.
The Prosonic Flow 93P flexible mounting concept means the measuring system can be integrated in plants at any time.
Its menu-guided Quick Setup feature guides the user step by step through all functions for simple operation and commissioning.
The menu-guided configuration also allows mounting without process interruption and its compatibility with Hart, Profibus DP/PA and Foundation Fieldbus protocols offers flexible system integration.
Low planning costs and virtually maintenance-free operation support a cost-effective lifecycle.
Endress+Hauser also offers portable metering and verification via its Prosonic Flow 93T.
Working off a powerful rechargeable battery, the 93T allows reliable portable flowmetering.
It features a built-in data logger that reads and saves measured values allowing simple in-situ verification of flowmeters.
