Endress+Hauser has invested in upgrading its temperature transmitters and introduced terminal heads and displays in order to provide a cost-effective temperature package.

The Endress+Hauser TMT84 Profibus PA and TMT85 Foundation Fieldbus temperature head transmitters offer a dual sensor input for resistance thermometers and thermocouples and diagnostic functions such as sensor back-up, drift and corrosion detection.

The devices have an interface for plug-in display and the option for a screw or spring terminal, while Atex and EEx approvals make them suitable for demanding applications.

A line of ergonomically designed terminal heads offers the options of screw in and hinged covers as well as an explosion-proof version.

The robust aluminum housing offers high protection of the transmitter from external influences, even in extreme process conditions.

They can display measured values and measurement point identification, as well as diagnostic information in the event of a fault in the measurement chain.

Miniature switches on the back of the display enable hardware set-up such as Profibus device addresses or measured value simulation when using Foundation Fieldbus.
