The new UGS Velocity Series portfolio marks the PLM industry's first comprehensive, preconfigured portfolio of digital product design, analysis and data management software and the entry point into the company's powerful Teamcenter platform.
UGS Velocity Series is the first mid-market offering to combine industry-proven digital product development solutions with the unparalleled technology of UGS' Teamcenter, the de facto standard for PLM deployments.

To minimise IT implementation and maintenance costs, the product is designed for the standard process in a Microsoft environment, as well as preconfigured with workflows from UGS' years of cPDM experience.

Teamcenter Express promotes project-wide collaboration via standard electronic data exchange and visualisation formats, including popular PCF and JT.
Furthermore, Teamcenter Express is built on UGS' "Open by Design" strategy so it can manage data created by third-party software tools in addition to UGS product data.
Teamcenter Express can be coupled with a wide variety of computer-aided design (CAD) applications including UGS' Solid Edge and NX as well as Catia, AutoCAD, Inventor and SolidWorks.
It also integrates with a variety of market-leading ERP solutions for consistent bill of materials (BOM) management.
