Renishaw to streamline new product
introductions
Renishaw has selected UGS Tecnomatix software to streamline its new product introduction processes.
Renishaw, the world's leading supplier of metrology and spectroscopy products, has selected UGS Tecnomatix solutions to streamline its new product introduction (NPI) processes Renishaw will use Tecnomatix digital manufacturing software to better manage its manufacturing systems by shortening the design cycle, removing wasteful processes and reducing the number of file formats required to produce new products

Renishaw's selection of UGS Tecnomatix solutions complements its existing investment in both NX software, UGS' digital product development system and Teamcenter software, UGS' digital lifecycle management system.
The agreement includes the maintenance of UGS' eM-Assembly Expert and eM-Execution products - which include solutions for assembly planning, quality management, material management, process verification and traceability.
