PLM Europe brings together a diverse group of UGS PLM technology managers and users through an annual event.

UGS Corp has announced "Network for Knowledge", its PLM event for UGS users and partners, from 9th to 11th October 2006 at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers Conference Centre in Frankfurt PLM Europe brings together a diverse group of UGS PLM technology managers and users through an annual event

Designed to help companies stay ahead of the competition and transform their process of innovation, the event gives access to the most up-to-date information from leading experts.

Sessions include PLM best practices and return on investment measurement.

delegates will hear from UGS customers, including Siemens AG, Axiom, Mahindra and Mahindra, Zimmer, Vosler Consulting, GE Oil and Gas, EADS MAS and Hewlett Packard.

Keynote presenters include: Tony Affuso, Chairman, CEO and President of UGS; Sir Ranulph Fiennes, British explorer; Bernard Gombert, Vice President and CTO of Body and Chassis Electronics from Siemens VDO; and Jim Brown of Aberdeen Group's Global Product Innovation and Engineering Research.

To enable enterprises to make the most out of the conference, tracks span the full product lifecycle - from planning, definition and building, to supporting, managing and collaborating.

Sessions will cover all UGS products including Teamcentre, NX, Tecnomatix, the new UGS Velocity Series portfolio and PLM Components, including JT technology.
