Senthil becomes President
The Board of Directors of EDS Technologies has named former Vice President S Senthil as President.
The Board of Directors of EDS Technologies has named former Vice President S Senthil as President.
The appointment reflects the success and operation excellence of Senthil in steering EDST on year-on-year growth and aims to leverage his leadership qualities for strategic initiatives and to accelerate growth.
"I have enjoyed the challenges of building and growing EDST to its current position of strength in CAD/CAM/PLM space".
"With a strong and buoyant Indian economy and growth momentum in Industries, I am excited to work with the Board and guide EDST in expanding markets and seeking new opportunities", said Senthil.
Senthil joined EDST in March, 1995 during its founding days as first employee.
Prior to joining EDST, Senthil played a key role at HCL in its CAD/CAM division.
He worked his way and grew in the company across various departments such as technical support and eventually marketing.
His stint at HCL was between 1989 and 1995.
After his education, his first job was with Textool as a Designer.
Senthil graduated in BE Mechanical in 1985 and completed a masters in engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey, USA in 1989.
He specialised in CAD/CAM engineering.
