Peter C Dent has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for Electron Energy Corp.

Peter C Dent has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for Electron Energy Corp.

Dent will be responsible for strengthening sales of high-quality rare-earth magnets and magnet assemblies to the aerospace and defence, telecommunications, medical devices, semiconductor, process controls and sensors, and industrial markets.

He will oversee all sales and marketing activities, specifically promoting EEC's new class of magnets that can withstand temperatures up to 550C, as well as polymer-bonded magnets.

Previously, as new Business Development Manager at Everson Electric, Bethlehem, PA, Dent led marketing and sales of high field, specialty resistive and superconducting magnets and systems.

Prior to that, he served as National Sales Manager and National Accounts Manager for Lakeshore Cryotronics, Westerville, OH, an international company specialising in magnetic measurement instrumentation.

"I believe Peter's strong marketing and engineering background and knowledge of magnet technology will positively impact Electron's future", said Michael H Walmer, President of EEC.

"His experience in domestic and international markets will help us achieve our sales and marketing goals and remain the number one innovator in our field".

Dent is a graduate of Lehigh University and holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.

He and his family reside in Allentown, PA.
