Power supply manufacturer Elektro-Automatik's first international subsidiary began trading from the UK in June 2001, headed by PSU industry veterans Stephen Evans and Jonathan Scott

Elektro-Automatik, based in a 10000m2 facility in Viersen near Dusseldorf, was founded in 1974, designing and manufacturing power supplies for laboratory and industrial applications.

In 1993, collaborating with the Danish Telepower company Danica Supply, Elektro-Automatik moved to quickly dominate the German mobile telecommunications power systems market.

In 2000, EA acquired the Vero Power Supply business, including staff, development and production facilities as well as IPR and customer base for the extensive 19" Eurocard product range.

Elektro-Automatik's first international subsidiary began trading from the UK in June 2001.

Elektro-Automatik Ltd is located in Salisbury and headed by PSU industry veterans Stephen Evans and Jonathan Scott, who between them have 37 years experience of the power supply market.

The company provides a commercial interface, technical support and stock holding service for Danica and Vero's legacy UK telecoms and electronics customer base; in addition, the company is introducing EA's comprehensive power supply program to the UK.

Elektro-Automatik's extensive product portfolio leads the way in telecom power systems, 19" pluggable/Eurocard PSUs, laboratory and industrial power supplies and battery chargers.

In addition to the broad range of standard catalogue units, custom developments for specific applications are an important part of the company's capability.
