An Environmental Equipments product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Feb 6, 2007

The latest triaxial accelerometer from Environmental Equipments is simple to install even where space is at a premium.

The latest triaxial accelerometer from Environmental Equipments has been designed for use in harsh conditions in industrial, automotive and aviation applications.

The robust, stainless steel case, single bolt fixing and 4-pin MIL spec connector make the Model 1080 simple to install even where space is at a premium.

The wide dynamic range of +/-500g, 10mV/g sensitivity across the frequency response extending from 80Hz to 5kHz and wide operating temperature range of -60 to +200C suit the Model 1080 to a variety of applications where high reliability and long life are needed.

The accelerometer requires a drive voltage of between 18 and 30V DC and weighs only 135g.

The single fixing bolt can be specified as either metric (M6) or imperial (0.25-28 UNF).

A detailed datasheet is available from Environmental Equipments.
