Industry and job announcements news from top engineering publishers have been added to the EEVL website.
EEVL has teamed up with a number of leading trade information publishers (Pro-Talk, Jobsite and Centaur Communications) to provide improved access to industry news and job announcement news.
This is the first part of a three-stage process to radically improve access to the latest information and news in the subjects covered by EEVL (engineering, mathematics and computing).
Further developments will be announced shortly.
The new services, all of which can be accessed via the EEVL site, include the latest news from Engineeringtalk.
The news feeds are available from the EEVL News section and the job announcements are available from the Jobs and Recruitment hot links (Engineering, Mathematics and Computing Jobs and Recruitment and Engineering Jobs and Recruitment).
This work has been made possible via a JISC funded PALS Metadata and Interoperability Project undertaken recently by EEVL.
EEVL is a UK-based not-for-profit free guide.
It was created and is run by a team of information specialists from Heriot Watt University, with input from a number of other universities in the UK, including the University of Ulster, the University of Birmingham, and Cranfield University.
Funding is from the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) through the Resource Discovery Network (RDN).
