GD and T training course comes on DVD
The Fundamentals of GD and T DVD Series is a convenient, comprehensive video training program that teaches geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Based on the ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard, the computer-based course includes 28 lessons covering the basic rules, definitions and concepts of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
It's the latest in a series of GDandT training options developed by geometric tolerancing expert and Effective Training President, Alex Krulikowski.
"The GDandT Trainer Personal Version is the most highly developed, interactive GDandT training software available for individuals to use at home", Krulikowski said.
"Users receive a hands-on approach to learning with animations that show exactly how a symbol is interpreted".
"Students can visualise a concept and understand it more readily, and best of all students can learn at their own pace, in the comfort of their own homes".
The Personal Version contains a course in geometric tolerancing fundamentals that takes about 28 hours to complete.
It offers many features of Effective Training's GDandT Trainer Professional Edition, including instant lesson feedback, quizzes that reinforce the material, lessons with geometric control applications and inspection examples, and 3D solid part images.
Other course highlights include user-friendly navigation, detailed full-colour graphics, technical animations and over 150 hot words (definitions of GDandT terms) accessible within the lessons.
It does not contain audio, author's comments, administration tools or exams.
The Personal Version runs on Windows 98SE, 2000, ME and XP.
