Test firm moves to bigger premises

An Epsilon Test Services product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Feb 9, 2006

Year-on-year growth of 20% for portable appliance and fixed installation testing firm has resulted in a move into new 483m2 premises at Gloucester Business Park in Gloucester.

A year-on-year growth of 20% for portable appliance and fixed installation testing specialist Epsilon Test Services has resulted in the company moving into new 483m2 premises at Gloucester Business Park in Gloucester.

Epsilon has increased its PAT engineers by 15% and its fixed installation test engineers by 30%.

This growth, giving Epsilon a total of 83 test engineers, required a move to a larger building.

The new building, known as Epsilon House, is purpose built to Epsilon's requirements.

It can house more high capacity IT infrastructure, used by Epsilon to produce test reports that arrive on its customers' desks within hours of the tests being carried out.

"This is the latest step in our rapid growth," said Mark Blanchfield, Managing Director.

"The investment in Gloucester Business Park follows on from our previous investments in advanced hand-held testing technology, expanding our number of service engineers and updating our fleet of cars with newer, more efficient vehicles".

"Epsilon is committed to being the best supplier of electrical testing services and our continued investment in the best facilities is proof of that".

The new open plan building has helped to streamline Epsilon's operation, improving the way enquires are processed and scheduled.

The building also provides a more comfortable working environment for Epsilon's staff, helping them to be more productive.

Epsilon now has improved training facilities and can give customers full, live demonstrations of its reporting software in action.
