Epsilon Test Services has completed the latest phase of investment designed to cement the company's position as the UK's leading electrical safety testing company.

Epsilon Test Services has completed the latest phase of investment designed to cement the company's position as the UK's leading electrical safety testing company.

In the last three years the company has now invested more than £2.5m, aimed at improving its service to levels never before reached.

Operating nationally from its Gloucestershire-based head office, Epsilon specialises in Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and Periodic Electrical Installation Testing.

Epsilon's most recent investment was to equip all its 80 Portable Appliance Test Engineers with the latest in testing technology, the Seaward Primetest 300.

Further investment was made in developing bespoke software that when loaded onto the engineers PDA, connects via Blue-tooth to the Primetest, captures all the test data and synchronises it back with Epsilon's servers ready to publish to their secure website as a report.

This all means a faster, more efficient service for the customer.

Epsilon's managing director, Mark Blanchfield says: "This is the latest step in our investment in technology which, as well as being recognised by the DTI in their e-commerce awards, has been a significant factor in our rapid growth, achieving a year on year increase in turnover of 30 per cent for the last three years.

"We are constantly updating our technology to give better customer service by achieving service levels unheard of in our industry.

One of the main customer benefits is fast, accurate test data, to clients, in most cases within 48 hours.

This latest investment will improve that turnaround time even further - which is particularly for facility management companies, who need to be able to sort and prioritise test results to organise any remedial works.".
