Sheet metal shops, panel builders and general engineering fabricators will be pleased to learn of the Coneco 35 clinching unit from Eckold Suited to a wide range of sheet joining applications, the Coneco 35 is a handheld, easy to use clinching unit that is also portable around the shop

It represents a cost effective alternative to spot welding and riveting in many instances, using the technique of cold forming to form joints in sheet assemblies up to 3mm in thickness.

The unit is powered by a standard 240V supply which ensures that the cumbersome restrictions associated with hydraulic and pneumatic operation are eliminated.

It also allows a high degree of portability and provides users with both economic efficiency and environmental acceptability through its clean and quiet operation.

Productivity is maximised thanks to its swivelling frame, simple adjustment, one-hand release and speed of operation (a single stroke is completed in one second).

Even awkward shaped sheet assemblies can be accommodated thanks to the innovative design of the Coneco 35, which features generously dimensioned throats as well as an optional design that mounts the clinching tools externally.

The universal nature of the unit, which offers optional clinching types, (designated as R-DF or S DF) ensure successful clinching of a wide variety of jobs.

Weighing just 10kg, the Coneco delivers a pressure force of 35kN.
