The unusual CFA/F from Elesa (UK) is an external multileaf thermoplastic hinge with inbuilt 90-degree stop.
The unusual CFA/F from Elesa (UK) is an external multileaf thermoplastic hinge with inbuilt 90-degree stop.
It is ideal for small equipment housings or for access doors where the opening angle must not exceed 90 degrees.
The 90-degree door-stop feature may be important in many situations to prevent a door interfering with other nearby equipment, or to prevent excessive opening in windy conditions.
The system is safe and secure for operator's hands as it is a built-in function of the hinge mechanism, thus leaving the operator free to work on the machine or equipment.
Full loading and operational specifications are given in the new "Pink" catalogue complete with guidance formulae to establish correct application criteria.
The CFA/F itself is resistant to solvents, oil, greases and other chemical agents and so is suitable for most industrial environments.
Fitment is by means of rear entry M6 screws into blind bushes giving a clean stylish appearance.
