Hinges enable fine tuning of cabinets
Lift-off hinges feature a patented offset centre hinge pin with hexagonal indexing to allow micro adjustment of door spacing from the frame.
This permits installers to "fine-tune" a cabinet installation for optimum door position to allow for door-mounted equipment, gasket pull down and uneven wall mounting surfaces.
The CF hinge adjustment feature uses a high-strength technopolymer pin which has top and bottom parts of the pin moulded at offset centres.
The bottom part is indexed to the hinge by an integral hexagonal collar; this locates in the bottom half of the hinge and determines the pivot centre line of the upper hinge part.
By removing and relocating the pin in the lower hinge part, the door position may be adjusted at top or bottom of the door - or of course both.
The CFO design provides for external screw mounting with clip-in screw covers.
The CFN version provides for rear entry blind mounting with moulded-in threaded bushes. Request a free brochure from Elesa (UK) ...
