The insert machining service is offered by Elesa, which is now able to supply handwheels, crank handles and handknobs from its comprehensive range with custom machined mounting bosses to match shaft fitment.

By supplying custom premachined parts, Elesa has eliminated the often unseen costs of secondary operations, including scrapping of damaged units, double handling and additional administration.

Boring and reaming, keyway cutting, drilling and tapping or cross holes, are among the possible specifications that customers can call up.
