Clamping knob comes in stainless steel

An Elesa (UK) product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Jan 1, 2008

Stainless-steel tri-lobe clamping knob suits food processing, marine, pharmaceutical, offshore and other aggressive environmental applications.

Elesa now offers a stainless-steel tri-lobe clamping knob for food processing, marine, pharmaceutical, offshore and other aggressive environmental applications that make the use of stainless steel mandatory either by virtue of legislation or simple utility.

Typically these will be of interest to machine and equipment builders where quick adjustment or dismantling is required - from benchtop units to stand-alone production plant.

The GN5339.5 features the same comfortable "rounded triangle" design as its well-known thermoplastic stable mate - the VTR - and is available with diameters from 32 to 60mm with M5 to M10 blind tapped hubs.

The knobs are finished in sand-blasted matt, although mirror polish is available on request.
