Indexing plunger offers compact solution

An Elesa (UK) product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team May 30, 2008

Even the largest version of the GN822 indexing plunger measures only 34 x 25mm, and it allows easy fitting.

Indexing plungers are the kind of item vital in many situations, but often requiring space grudgingly allowed and costs difficult to defend.

The GN822 indexing plunger saves space and costs.

It is a true mini indexing plunger, at only 26.5mm long with a 21mm knob diameter in its smallest incarnation.

Even the largest version measures only 34 x 25mm.

Fitting is simple, pulling back the plunger knob reveals a hex head and an M8 or M10 thread suitable for mounting even in thin sheet metal of 3.5 or 4mm.

An AISI 303 stainless plunger provides accurate positioning while the technopolymer knurled knob offers a safe and solid grip during operations.

The GN822 is available in two executions, without a rest position and with rest position.

Black oxide steel brushings are also available to space the unit when it is installed on a thin sheet.
