Elesa has brought out the SMN and SMW hydraulic breather caps for pressurised tank systems.
The caps offer single and double valve operation to smooth out the pressure fluctuations in the hydraulic fluid reservoir while oil is drawn out or returned to the tank.
The SMN and SMW breather caps offer single and double valve operation so as to smooth out the pressure fluctuations in the hydraulic fluid reservoir as oil is rapidly drawn out or returned to the tank.
A simple open vent would allow ingress of contaminants as well as outflow or spillage.
The SMN/W breather caps manage pressure change, filter air flow and seal the tank, reducing fluid foaming and pump cavitation to enable the hydraulic pump to operate at its optimum efficiency.
SMN/W breathers feature rugged chrome plated steel caps, also available as /BA bayonet fixing variants for quicker application.
