Elesa releases indexing plungers

An Elesa (UK) product story
Edited by the Engineeringtalk editorial team Apr 20, 2009

Elesa has used its expertise in glass-reinforced technopolymer in the design of two indexing plungers.

The PMT 100 and PMT 101, with a threaded body in reinforced technopolymer, are lightweight and low- friction for smooth operation in production or measurement equipment where frequent quick indexing is required.

The PMT 100 is a simple push/pull index unit, while its companion the PMT 101 features a pin retraction lock to enable free hands-off movement when the indexing is not required.

This also safeguards the pin from damage.

Pins are steel with black oxide finish or stainless steel where corrosion is a potential problem.
