The Integral Flo-Tel pressure relief sensor developed by Elfab Limited provides instant warning of over-pressure within the pipework and vessels of process plants.

A new device developed by Elfab Limited provides instant warning of over-pressure within the pipework and vessels of process plants.

Called Integral Flo-Tel, this pressure relief sensor is designed to instantly send a signal to process control systems when a bursting disc ruptures and the process media flows through to a discharge tank.

Bursting discs are high precision pressure relief devices used throughout the processing industries.

Designed to burst at a specific pressure, they prevent potentially dangerous pressure build-up and are now an essential safety component in process plants.

Integral Flo-Tel has two features that make it innovative.

Firstly, the electronic sensor that detects when the bursting disc ruptures is integral within the disc holder - the significance being that it does not need replacing every time a disc bursts.

Secondly, it is Ex-certified, allowing it to be used at all levels of potentially explosive atmospheres, right up to Zone 0.

Compatible with most of the Elfab bursting disc range, Integral Flo-Tel can also be used for relief valve isolation.

In addition, custom-engineered versions can be produced to meet specific customer requirements.
