GlaxoSmithKline prefers Elfab in Cork
Leading pressure-safety specialist Elfab has signed a preferred supplier partnership agreement with GlaxoSmithKline Cork.
Leading pressure-safety specialist Elfab has signed a preferred supplier partnership agreement with GlaxoSmithKline Cork The two-year agreement confirms Elfab as the exclusive supplier of bursting disc and detection systems to GSK's primary manufacturing facilities in Ireland
All new build and development projects at the site will be completed with Elfab bursting discs, and existing installations will undergo a phased upgrade programme to Elfab devices, with the majority being converted to Elfab's premium product, Opti-Gard.
Two main factors secured the contract: Opti-Gard's industry-leading performance range and manufacturing tolerances - which form the basis of a rationalisation programme - and Elfab's unique Integral Flo-Tel detection system.
