Elfab has launched a new range of bursting disc plugs, specifically developed to provide standard pressure-relief.
Elfab has launched a new range of bursting disc plugs, specifically developed to provide standard pressure-relief The device is said to be suitable for a broad range of applications, including cryogenics, gas cylinders, autoclaves, portable compressed air systems, hydraulic accumulators and high-pressure water cleaning systems
Available in either brass or stainless steel, the tamper-proof plugs are supplied in a wide variety of disc and holder combinations, covering a range of connection options and burst pressures - from 2.5 to 200 barg[1].
The range offers a performance tolerance of five per cent and an 85 per cent maximum operating pressure.
The plugs are claimed to provide leak integrity and are both gas and vapour compatible.
In addition to the standard range, customer-specific designs can be produced to meet individual system requirements.
