Elfab has made the benefits of its industry-leading, ATEX-approved burst detection system available to all Arma-Gard graphite bursting disc customers.

Elfab has made the benefits of its industry-leading, ATEX-approved burst detection system available to all Arma-Gard graphite bursting disc customers.

The new Slimline Arma-Gard features thinner face-to-face dimensions than the standard version, enabling Elfab's noninvasive and reusable Flo-Tel detector to now be fitted as standard.

Slimline Arma-Gard's steel-armoured ring serves the dual purpose of protecting the graphite disc while allowing for the degree of clamping force necessary for correct sealing.

The new bursting disc is immune to the damage suffered by conventional graphite discs, which is caused by poor storage, handling or installation.

Due to its unique design, Arma-Gard eliminates the possibility of side wall bursts and is not torque-sensitive.

The new slimline design retains all the benefits of original Arma-Gard, but now allows all customers the option of Elfab's unique integral detection system, Flo-Tel, previously only available with a thicker face-to-face specification.

The holderless, multi-flange design will allow for improved lead times while simultaneously giving customers the opportunity to reduce their stock holdings.

With high levels of corrosion resistance and low-pressure capability, Arma-Gard offers an excellent solution for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
