The Hotbox SE is the new data logger that Swiss company Elpro reckons is the ideal device for recording process data.

It is simple to operate, easy to handle and can be adjusted quickly to suit all required measurement applications.

It is possible to connect: two temperature sensors, two 4-20mA probes and two sensors with DC voltage signals.

The large display shows the values measured by the sensor, in the unit of measurement selected by the customer, periodically and independent of the storage cycle.

Any four channels can be selected for recording the measured data in the memory which has a capacity for 64,000 data points.

Users can display recorded data at any time in the form of a graph on the PC.

For example, high pressure 0-30bar, low pressure 0-10bar and two temperatures -50 to + 140C for in-flow and return-flow can be recorded.

Or the speed of airflow in metres per second is shown in conjunction with temperature and air humidity.

This simplifies system optimisation methods and system acceptance report procedures.

Customer sensors can also be connected to the device using screw clamps.

The comfortable evaluation software ElproLog, which is uniform for all devices, plots the measured values and permits many auxiliary functions as well as the adjustment of all Elpro data loggers.

Documentation is simplified for quality assurance to ISO or GLP standards.

The software is designed to meet 21CFR11 requirements.
