Speedy sorting and grading
The Elscint sorting and grading unit is designed to feed, sort and grade components with cylindrical and spherical geometries.
Stud lengths can vary from 12 to 90mm.
The feed rate for studs varies between 70 and 300 pieces per minute depending on the length of the stud bolts.
The bowl is made of stainless steel 304 material.
Because of the metal to metal contact the noise generated is in the vicinity of 90dB.
An optional polyurethane bowl lining can be specified to reduce noise levels to approximately 75dB, and an acrylic cover reduces the noise to less than 70dB.
The studs are then fed to a thread rolling machine.
With such high feed rate, Elscint's vibratory bowl feeders can greatly increase productivity for fastener manufacturers.
The Model 400 is available at a very attractive price and on a short lead time.
