Elscint Automation manufactures a nut feeding accessory for resistance spot welding machines The unit consists of an Elscint vibratory bowl feeder which feeds the nuts (either square or round)

The nuts are fed to a pnuematic pusher and then to an escapement, which places the nut on the workstation for spot welding.

It is then held in that position magnetically.

The accessory is becoming very popular with spot welding machine manufacturers around the world, and is mainly used for nuts of size M8, M10 and M12.

The feeder can handle at least 20 to 30 M8 square nuts per minute.

The speed of other sizes will vary accordingly.
