Elysium has engaged Peter Heath as Director of Product Management.

Elysium has engaged Peter Heath as Director of Product Management.

Heath brings extensive experience in all aspects of complex software system development to Elysium.

His 20 years of experience spans all aspects of the CAD industry.

Most recently, he was Vice President of Heath Solutions, a Michigan-based software consultancy.

Prior to that, he held increasingly senior positions as Product Manager at both EDS and SDRC, where he specialised in interoperability and technical support.

"Peter is an excellent addition to Elysium's product management team", said Ken Tashiro, COO at Elysium.

"His extensive experience in the CAD industry makes him an ideal choice to head the product management department.

We are sure that Peter's addition will enable us to better serve our customers' needs".

At Elysium, Heath will manage the company's CADserver and CADpdm programmes.

CADserver is Elysium's enterprise-level, server-based system that allows engineers and product designers rapidly translate data between different CAD systems.

Users upload a CAD file via a simple web interface, indicate what format they wish it translated into, and pay attention to other business while the file is translated in the background.

CADpdm is a product data management (PDM) tool, which can be incorporated into CADserver.

With CADpdm, model geometry and the associated metadata are extracted from the original CAD system and are uniquely and completely defined in the target system.

Heath holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Union College in New York.
