Emerson Power Transmission has added two new sizes to its Browning Torque Taper Plus reducer line.

Emerson Power Transmission has added two new sizes to its Browning Torque Taper Plus reducer line.

The new 307 and 315 compliment the successful 107, 115, 203, 207, and 215 size offering.

The new sizes will also feature the patent pending reverse mount bushing system and the patent pending "barrier" seal system.

The new "barrier" seal system combines a V-ring face seal, grease-filled labyrinth and rotating outer flinger to provide three lines of defence against contamination and oil seal damage.

The reverse mount bushing system allows users to mount the bushing from either side.

The Torque Taper Plus is available in 5, 9, 15, 25 and 35:1 ratios.

Improvements in the new sizes feature larger input shafts with increased torque ratings.

Accessories include a redesigned motor kit with new configurations and a new backstop kit that can easily be field installed.

Shaft-mount reducers are used in many key industries including: package handling, aggregate, material handling, pulp and paper, and others.
