Emerson Power Transmission is introducing its new ePT University which provides comprehensive interactive product, application and drive design training The curriculum includes over 35 lessons grouped into six courses

The offerings include the basics of power transmission fundamentals including belt drives, chain drives, gearing, bearings and couplings.

The courses include detailed training modules for products of all seven EPT brands (Browning, Kop-Flex, McGill, MORSE, Rollway, SealMaster and US Gearmotors).

Each module provides product overview, industry nomenclature, product construction, features and benefits as they apply to specific applications, and tips that can improve design efficiency.

The individual training lessons contain audio, animation and high quality graphics to provide an interesting and comprehensive learning experience.

ePT University advisors acknowledge and verify each student's results as they advance through the course.

All quizzes are graded with scores stored in EPT's Learner Management System, which enables students to track their progress and knowledge level.

Upon completion of the entire program, students receive a certificate of completion to document their achievement.

This industry-leading training can be used as a standalone program or can easily be customised and configured to complement the existing training programs of industrial distributors, original equipment manufacturers and end-users.

A demonstration may be viewed online.
