Specialist compression latch for unusual
closures
Emka have developed a specialist compression latch, the 1000 series, which has a turn/compress function that solves problems where thick gaskets are used
Emka, again with studied understanding of its customers' application problems, has developed a specialist compression latch designated the 1000 series Offering two-stage operation with direct pull-down on the gasket, the 1000 latch has a turn/compress function, which solves problems where thick gaskets are used or where normal latches would give too tight a compression

Remote electrical release for cabinets
The Emka remote electrical release system may be integrated into the 2100 program and many other Swinghandle styles, and it may even be interfaced with a computer management system
The 1000 series provides 6mm of direct pull compression.
While looking like any other double-bar or coin slot quarter-turn fastener, the operator makes a first quarter-turn of the key which positions the latch and a conventional 3mm ramp.
The second quarter-turn then generates a "soft landing" with a further 6mm compression.
Standard Emka hole form is used so fitment is simple in all situations where traditional quarter-turn fasteners would be expected.
The 1000 series however, also has the advantage of compensating for flexible doors or wide tolerances in fitment. Request a free brochure from Emka UK ...
