External hinges suit tough environments

Emka 1039 and 1055 external hinges are available in heights from 33 to 55mm to suit both lay-on and flushmounted doors.

Emka has a quick, simple and effective solution to many door hinging problems The 1039 and 1055 series are 2 or 3 module external hinge ranges which are ideally suited for small to medium sized applications, and to arduous environments where stainless steel versions are specified

The "machined from bar" look of these rugged hinges and internal stud fixing enhances today's modern "techno" style.

Various sizes are available in heights from 33 to 55mm to suit both lay-on and flush mounted doors.

Features include high-quality zinc plated modules with nickel plated brass hinge pin and washers.

Large bearing surfaces and mountings of M6, M8 or M10 ensure both strength and long life in operation.

Stainless steel versions are available in most sizes.

The smallest, simplest variant involves using twin modules per hinge with each pair of hinges mounted alternately to prevent door removal.

Other sizes are made up of triple modules and are nonremovable.

An additional feature is provision of an elongated centre module in some sizes where a flush door is used, requiring a long centre "throw".

1039 and 1055 series hinges are part of a complete hinging system of over 40 types available from Emka, specifically designed for the specialist enclosure and panel manufacturer involved in the electrical controls industry for process equipment, food, offshore, general production and HVAC.

Availability is on an ex-stock 24-hour delivery basis (when required).

With over 40 separate types in the Emka catalogue, each in many sizes, most requirements can be met from stock to meet specific aesthetic, structural or material considerations, however where this is not possible a design service is operated to supply custom items.
