Latches extend cabinet lifespan
Emka compression latches suit applications where equipment vibration may affect the integrity of normal quarter-turn system.
Emka (UK) has released a range of compression latches designed to enhance gasket compression with a soft landing clamp action, improving the longevity of the seal and equipment These are especially useful in situations where equipment vibration may affect the integrity of normal quarter-turn systems, for example on vehicles, gensets or mobile mounted controls
Compression latches are typically used in air conditioning or acoustic cabinets.
The straight pull down action gives a better steal with a more gentle operation than the ramp design of normal quarter-turn cams, reducing damage to panels and gaskets.
Emka compression latches come in quarter-turn and swing handle configurations as well as an adjustable shaft version for fine control of tab setting. Request a free brochure from Emka UK ...
