And now the company has published a simple guide to hinge selection covering flush or surface mounted doors with concealed or exposed hinges, including 180-degree and lift-off criteria, spring hinges and attachment methods such as the assembly taper pin fixing system.
The Emka hinge guide covers more than 120 different hinges that the company offers for metal enclosures.
Hinge materials include mild steel, zinc alloy, stainless 304 and glass reinforced nylon, with a variety of fixing methods, adjustments, dismounting possibilities and finishes.
Emka reckons this clear and easy to use guide will help design engineers to rapidly select a hinge with all the required functionality required by end users, with the most appropriate installation method for production, at a cost to meet purchasing budget constraints.
