Emerson's CSI 2130 Collector is the fastest, most powerful device available for periodic route-based data collection, reducing collection time by more than 50% compared with similar devices.
"The recognition by BSI that Emerson's quality procedures comply with this standard will emphasise Emerson's commitment to develop sustainable business results for the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries", said David Newman, Emerson's Operations Consultant for the oil and gas industries.
"Emerson is already accredited to ISO 9001, and this achievement attests that its procedures and policies go one step further toward meeting the unique needs of these demanding industries".
The requirements of ISO/TS29001 are supplementary to the international quality standard ISO9001:2000, and are customised for the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries.
They cover the design and implementation of an organisation's quality management systems by providing information on the general requirements and documentation needed to monitor quality, management responsibility and policy, as well as resource management, measurement, analysis and improvement.
The standard is closely aligned with the international environmental standard ISO14001.
"Our quality management systems are well established", said Peter Cave, Emerson's UK and Ireland Quality Manager.
"This is continually and effectively demonstrated by the fact that we received no noncompliances during our last seven BSI assessments".
"From this sound base, we developed the additional procedures required for meeting and demonstrating compliance to this new standard".
A highly customer-focused organisation, Emerson uses customer feedback to continuously improve existing or develop new procedures, which leads to product improvement and customer satisfaction.
This feedback was essential during development of the procedures required to meet this new industry standard. Request free introductory details about products from Emerson Process Management ...
