Emerson has expanded its vibration monitoring service through an alliance with RoMaDyn, the US based engineering expert in rotating machinery.
Emerson has expanded its vibration monitoring service through an alliance with RoMaDyn, the US based engineering expert in rotating machinery.
This alliance couples Emerson's worldwide Machinery Health Management services capabilities with RoMaDyn's 50 plus years of in-field turbo machinery experience, to create an unprecedented network of turnkey and machinery diagnostic services delivering protection monitoring for critical rotating machines.
"Our customers are looking for a reliable source of products and services to help manage their rotating equipment assets more effectively", said Brian Humes, General Manager for Emerson's Machinery Health Management business.
"This alliance will provide the customers of both Emerson and RoMaDyn with a broader range of services and greater resources to meet their machinery health needs, backed by the most impressive and respected names in vibration analysis".
"We look forward to providing a variety of services, including diagnostic, product, technical training and turnkey services in support of Emerson's growth in the machinery health and asset optimisation business", said Richard Thomas, Global Services Manager for RoMaDyn.
Besides services opportunities, the two companies have jointly created a new training course on turbomachinery diagnostics to be introduced by Emerson in 2007.
Trainees will receive a copy of the "Fundamentals of rotating machinery diagnostics" written by vibration monitoring pioneer and rotordynamicist Donald E Bently.
