VAR deal crosses IT and process
boundaries
Emerson Process Management and OSIsoft have announced the continuation of their global value added reseller agreement of the last three years.

OSIsoft is a key ally of Emerson in providing enterprise-wide control integration solutions.
The alliance of the two companies has included joint product development, and resulted in the integration of more than 7000 of Emerson's DeltaV digital automation systems with the OSIsoft Real-time Performance Management Platform (RtPM).
The resulting solution crosses IT and process boundaries to incorporate and display operational information for timely analysis and the ability to make critical, informed, and profitable decisions.
Emerson Process Management maintains OSIsoft's highest Platinum-level VAR status due to its worldwide success in delivering the value of real-time information through its automation management projects.
The OSIsoft PI System data historian, as the foundation of the Real-time Performance Management Platform, provides a common data architecture for applications from the plant floor to the business level, to make information available wherever it is needed for better business decisions.
OSIsoft offerings that have been successfully integrated with Emerson products and services include Sigmafine mass balancing, maintenance applications, enterprise resource planning (ERP) connectivity to real-time plant floor information, batch management, inventory management, process workflow, real-time reporting, real-time portal view, plant IT monitoring, operator reports, oil and gas production monitoring, and integrated production and scheduling.
Emerson uses its own unique software-tools based on years of project experience, to intelligently and efficiently synchronise a variety of data sources with the OSIsoft PI System.
The use of time tested tools ensures that Emerson can fully leverage existing DCS configurations and reduce project risk, implementation time, and data integration complexity.
