Empire Magnetics Dustproof Series motors now includes a brushless motor family.

Empire Magnetics Dustproof Series motors now includes a brushless motor family.

Brushless Dustproof motors/resolvers form a single rugged and reliable component suitable for hostile environments that, when combined with a drive system, are ideal for efficient closed-loop motion control applications.

These motors completely lock out contamination, and drive electronics can be removed and controlled from a more hospitable location via RS232 communication.

These brushless motors are available in frame sizes from 3.25 to 7.5in, and can accommodate rapid acceleration and deceleration.

Their unique structure allows for maximum power ratings, anti-cog operation and extended bearing life.

Dustproof Brushless Motors provide high torque to inertial ratios and stall torque from 14 to 451lbin.

Depending on frame size, these motors also offer continuous output power from 700 to 7800W.

Typical applications include wood, wood products, flour production, plastics machining, and graphite fibre production.

For more unique and demanding applications, Dustproof Motors can be combined with additional environmental options.
