Empire Magnetics is working with the Makeyev State Rocket Centre in Miass, Russia, to offer launch qualification services and testing to developers of space rated equipment.

The State Rocket Centre's converted military hardware is highly reliable for launch qualification purposes.

Launches take place from international waters to avoid safety, ecological and geopolitical considerations, while providing total flexibility in orbital path selection.

This capability is ideally suited for satellite launches for the communications industry, astronomical research and experimentation, zero-gravity testing of materials and processes, and flight testing of new aeronautical and space rated designs.

Testing is also available for objects up to 5t mass.

Objects can be tested for resistance to extreme vibration, noise, temperature and humidity, corrosion and aging and electromagnetic radiation.

Automated test equipment with video test monitoring and recording is available with 3500 channel capacity for real-time test data.

As the Cold War winds down, the USA and Russia have agreed to reduce the number of missiles in their arsenals.

As a result, the State Rocket Centre has a number of land and sea based ICBMs that can be used for launching payloads into orbit.

Because the ICBMs are scheduled for destruction, the SRC is offering attractive prices for launches scheduled prior to the destruction deadlines.

Submarine based launches are also available, allowing satellites to be placed in orbits not easily achieved from other launch locations.
