Telescopic pillars smart enough for
furniture

Electro Mechanical Systems have recently introduced the Telesmart range of low-cost telescopic pillars to address the growing issue of adjustable furniture in the workplace

Electro Mechanical Systems have recently introduced the Telesmart range of low-cost telescopic pillars to considerable critical acclaim The new products are specifically designed to address the growing issue of adjustable furniture in the workplace and provide a complete ergonomic solution to a range of applications

The elegant design of the pillars enables them to be seen as a feature of the furniture design and consists of two extruded aluminium tubes sliding one inside the other on pre-set delrin guide pads.

The rigid construction ensures that the columns can be used individually as stand-alone support systems, or in parallel in the case of larger loads.

Reliable DC motor technology provides a lifting capacity of 1500N at a speed range of 17-21mm/s with stroke lengths of up to 600mm to give smooth, even movement.

The integrated transformer/rectifier affords simple connection to the mains power supply and obviates the need for alternative fixing points for a control box and routing of cables.

It also provides the facility for a 24V DC slave output to drive a secondary actuator or column.

This may be operated independently or in parallel by means of an integrated microprocessor and incremental encoders, which also provide for several programmable memory positions.

The range is complemented by a series of ergonimically designed low voltage desk and foot switches to suit all applications. Request a free brochure from EMS ...
