The new 3D drawing system invested in by EMS now allows sample designs to be sent to the customer as a computer file to view within their own design before manufacture.

The design can be sectioned, rotated, animated and many other techniques employed to ensure that before metal is cut the sample components are optimised and will fit and move as expected and without conflict with any other part of the customer's product.

With five production units based in Poole in Dorset, in addition to the head office at Aldermaston, EMS is able to offer the designer a vast choice of small motors, gearheads and actuation devices.

And, if an application needs something extra, EMS will design and manufacture the product to exact needs and specifications.

EMS was founded in mid 1985 and quickly established itself as a leading supplier of high quality precision motors and linear actuators.

After taking on sole UK representation for Minimotor of Switzerland and Magnetic Elektromotoren of Switzerland and Germany, EMS went on to grow and enter manufacturing in 1990.
