A novel space-saving high-temperature motor can resist ambient temperatures up to 150C, making it ideal for use in motor vehicle production and other high ambient temperature environments.

KAG Kahlig Antriebstechnik, represented in the UK by EMS, has developed this high-temperature rated DC drive motor, which is available in small and medium-sized series at extremely short notice.

Available in diameters of 42 and 63mm, in intermittent operation for example, the motors have an extremely high overload capacity, equalling the power of comparable motors several times over.

Special insulation and other high-quality materials enable this new product to withstand very high ambient temperatures.

Potential areas of application for the new high-temperature motor are therefore, for example, antilock systems (ABS), special hydraulic pumps, for example in automatic transmissions (ASG), auxiliary oil pumps, and auxiliary gear pumps for sports cars.
