Nidec has unveiled a range of brushless 12 or 24V DC three-phase motors.

They offer compact frame sizes from 24.2 to 48.9mm diameter, up to 17.5W continuous output power and no-load speed options from 2,150 to 17,800rpm.

Nidec brushless DC motors offer the following advantages over standard brushed DC motors: quieter operation, longer life, higher energy efficiency, no electromagnetic interference problems, integrated control electronics, locked rotor protection and low inertia.

Options include: speed control via a PWM input signal, tachometer output, logic-controlled clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation and stop-start functions.

Electro-Mechanical Systems (EMS) also offers a range of standard gearboxes, as well as a free comprehensive design service, which enables our UK-based design and manufacturing facility to achieve the optimum bespoke drive system.

The Nidec product range is distributed in the UK and Ireland by Electro Mechanical Systems.
